Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
This research aimed to find out the influence of problem-based learning model on student’s mathematics problem solving ability. The design of this research was posttest only control group design. This research population was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 1 Pagelaran in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into ten classes. This research samples were students of VIII1 and VIII3 class who were taken by purposive random sampling technique. The research data were obtained by test of mathematics problem solving ability which were analyzed by Mann-Whitney test. Based on analysis of data, it concluded that problem solving learning model affects on student’s mathematics problem solving ability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Pagelaran tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam sepuluh kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII1 dan VIII3 yang diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang dianalisis menggunakan Uji Mann-Whitney. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa model problem based learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.
