Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui kebijakan pengelolaan sektor informal dan untuk mengetahui upaya apa yang dilakukan pemerintah terhadap PKL. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif. Fokus penelitian ini berupa bentuk-bentuk kebijakan pengelolaan sektor informal dan upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah terhadap PKL. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penenlitian ini yaitu wawancara mendalam. Informan penelitian berjumlah 7 orang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk kebijakan pemerintah dalam mengelola PKL adalah dengan memberikan sosialisasi mengenai rencana relokasi, pembangunan tempat usaha PKL, dan penertiban PKL. Sebelum melakukan sosialisasi mengenai rencana relokasi, pemerintah terlebih dahulu mengadakan dialog-dialog dan pertemuan dengan PKL dan dikemukakan lokasi dan tempat-tempat yang telah pemerintah tetapkan. Bila pertemuan tidak memberikan suatu kesepakatan, maka pihak Satpol-PP baru mengeluarkan surat edaran dari walikota Bandar Lampung, yang isinya meminta para PKL untuk segera pindah. Setelah sosialisasi, kemudian pemerintah melakukan pembangunan tempat usaha PKL dan kemudian penertiban PKL. Kata kunci : PKL, Sektor Informal, penertiban PKL. URBAN INFORMAL SECTOR MANAGEMENT (Case Study in Jagabaya III Subdistrict, Way Halim District Bandar Lampung City) This study aims to find out the informal sector management policies and to find out what efforts the government has done to street vendors. This study uses a qualitative approach. The focus of this research is in the form of informal sector management policies and efforts made by the government on street vendors. Data collection techniques in this study are in-depth interviews.There were 7 research informants. The results showed that the forms of government policies in managing PKL were by providing socialization about the relocation plan, the construction of the PKL's place of business, and controlling street vendors. Before conducting the socialization of the relocation plan, the government first held dialogues and meetings with PKL and proposed locations and places that the government had set. If the meeting does not provide an agreement, then the new Satpol-PP issues a circular letter from the mayor of Bandar Lampung, which asks the PKL to move immediately. After the socialization, the government then carried out the construction of the PKL's place of business and then controlled the street vendors.
