Abstrak

System Traffic Light at the intersection Unila still use the timer in general are less able to cope with problems that often occur at the junction of the number of vehicles queuing at the intersection of so many who violate the tide of the infrared sensors in detecting the presence of solid density to determine its existing vehicle at the intersection Unila and installed a camera along with an alarm function so it knows which often violate traffic vehicles. In this study, the model developed Traffic Light, each lane is not the same number of vehicles therefore the queue length is not evenly by considering the queue length is known by infrared sensors. Sensors can alter the normal time beginning 30 seconds to 60 seconds, and the camera sensor can be ordered manangkap vehicles that violate traffic. Prototype as expected by testing the intersection first response in case of error of 12%, 34% 2 intersection, and the intersection of 3 by 36%. Response testing violations may work well for less than 1 second. Sistem Traffic Light pada persimpangan unila masih menggunakan timer secara umum yang kurang mampu mengatasi masalah yang sering terjadi pada persimpangan banyaknya kendaraan yang mengantri di persimpangan sehingga banyak juga yang melanggar maka dari itu di pasang sensor infra merah pendeteksi adanya kepadatan guna mengetahui padat nya kendaraan yang ada pada persimpangan unila dan di pasang sebuah kamera beserta alarm berfungsi agar mengetahui kendaraan yang sering melanggar lalulintas. Pada penelitian ini di kembangkan model Traffic Light, pada masing-masing jalur jumlah kendaraan tidak sama oleh sebab itu panjang antrian tidak merata dengan mempertimbangkan panjang antrian diketahui oleh sensor infra merah. Sensor dapat mengubah waktu normal mulanya 30 detik menjadi 60 detik, dan sensor tersebut bisa memerintahkan kamera manangkap kendaraan yang melanggar lalu lintas. Prototype sesuai dengan yang diharapkan dengan pengujian respon simpang 1 terjadi error sebesar 12%, simpang 2 sebesar 34%, dan simpang 3 sebesar 36%. Pengujian respon pelanggran dapat bekerja dengan baik selama kurang dari 1 detik.
