Abstract
Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 2 Rejomulyo Kecamatan Jatiagung Lampung Selatan, diketahui bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Group Investigation dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas IV SDN 2 Rejomulyo Jatiagung Lampung Selatan Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan terdiri dari dua siklus dan setiap siklus melalui tahapan berupa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data yang diambil meliputi data kuantitatif berupa tes hasil belajar dan data kualitatif berupa hasil lembar observasi yang disertai dengan anlisis data hasil tes dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada siklus I terdapat 60% peserta didik yang dapat dikatakan tuntas dan terdapat 40% peserta didik belum tuntas. Sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat yakni terdapat 83% peserta didik yang tuntas dan 17% pesertadidik belum tuntas. Kata kunci : hasil belajar, model pembelajaran Group Investigation.
