For the Lombok people, wild boar is pest that extremely disruptive for an plantation. It have been a long time for West Lampung people especially Lombok found a way to overcome the pest with hunting it by group. As time goes by, hunting wild boar it has become hereditary activity by local people. Masu Babuy is a hunting tradition that carried out in a group with the help of dogs trained to find traces of the boar. The tradition of Masu Babuy, the hunter also called “pemasu”. In the tradition of Masu Babuy there is a system of hunting where every hunter divided into specified groups. These groups are side by side in the hunt with a very unique way of communicating that is using the communication symbols are only understood by those. Research use qualitative approach. Data about a pattern of communication, the symbols of communication hunter and the interpretation of it is collected through a deep interview, observation, and the literature study. And then the data are mixed with the process of editing and intepretation techniques which are then analyzed by the reduction of data. Based on the results of research, there are a few conclusions that formed a sociometry that form the two models of sociogram, namely sociogram models before the hunt that resembles a propeller and when hunting sociogram models that resemble flower petals. Of both models sociogram are formed 3 click. First click from procces of big group communication. Second click, communication between a little group and the last click is between boar hunter groups. In addition, a pattern of communication that formed was new and very unique. The finding of a new communications pattern forming square system is when the leaders of a large group interacting in the process of hunting and zoning patterns of balance communication that formed when occurring interaction in the small group hunter. Keyword : Masu Babuy tradition, Pattern of Communication, Sociogram models Propeller, Sociogram models Flower Petals Bagi masyarakat Pekon Lumbok, babi hutan merupakan hama yang sangat mengganggu bagi perkebunan. Sejak dahulu masyarakat Lampung Barat khususnya Pekon Lombok telah menemukan cara untuk mengatasi hama tersebut yaitu dengan memburunya secara berkelompok. Seiring berjalannya waktu, berburu hama babi hutan ini menjadi kegiatan yang dilakukan turun menurun oleh masyarakat setempat. Tradisi Masu Babuy merupakan tradisi berburu yang dilakukan secara berkelompok dengan bantuan anjing terlatih untuk menemukan jejak babi hutan. Dalam tradisi Masu babuy pemburu disebut dengan pemasu. Dalam tradisi Masu Babuy terdapat sistem berburu dimana tiap pemasu dibagi dalam kelompok-kelompok tertentu. Kelompok-kelompok tersebut saling bahu-membahu dalam proses perburuan dengan cara berkomunikasi yang sangat unik yaitu menggunakan simbol-simbol komunikasi yang hanya dimengerti oleh mereka. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe penelitian kualitatif. Data-data mengenai pola komunikasi, simbol-simbol komunikasi pemasu beserta maknanya dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan studi pustaka. Kemudian data tersebut diolah dengan proses pengeditan dan intepretasi untuk kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik-teknik reduksi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, terdapat beberapa kesimpulan yaitu terbentuk suatu sosiometri yang membentuk dua model sosiogram yang terbagi dalam model sosiogram sebelum berburu yang menyerupai baling-baling dan model sosiogram pada saat berburu yang membentuk kelopak bunga. Dari kedua model sosiogram tersebut terbentuk 3 klik. Klik pertama berasal dari proses komunikasi kelompok besar, klik kedua terjadi pada kelompok kecil, dan klik yang terakhir terjadi antar kelompok pemasu. Selain itu, pola komunikasi yang terbentuk pun tergolong baru dan sangat unik. Temuan pola komunikasi baru ini membentuk pola komunikasi kotak, yaitu terjadi ketika para pemimpin kelompok besar berinteraksi dalam proses pembagian wilayah berburu dan pola komunikasi neraca keseimbangan yang terbentuk ketika terjadi interaksi dalam kelompok kecil pemasu.
