Abstrak

This quasi experimental research aimed to know effect of the implementation of cooperative learning of scramble type towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of MTs Darul Huffaz Pesawaran in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into three classes. The samples of this research were students of VIIA and VIIB class which were taken by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was the posttest only control group design. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical conceptual understanding. The conclusion of this researchwas the implementation of cooperative learning of scramble type affect the student’s understanding. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Darul Huffaz Pesawaran tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam tiga kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIByang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest onlycontrol group design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes pemahaman konsep matematis.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.
