Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
ABSTRAK Menurunnya jumlah perolehan suara Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) di Kota Metro pada tahun 2009 menjadikan PKS semakin sering melakukan pendidikan politik masyarakat. Hal yang dianggap menarik oleh peneliti adalah apakah pendidikan politik yang dilakukan oleh PKS benar adanya sebagai pembentuk masyarakat yang cerdas politik atau hanya mobilisasi partai semata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan fungsi pendidikan politik yang dilakukan oleh Dewan Pengurus Daerah (DPD) PKS yang ditunjukan untuk masyarakat Kota Metro pada Pemilu 2014. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengurus DPD PKS Kota Metro dan masyarakat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan proses reduksi dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah DPD PKS telah memberikan pendidikan politik kepada masyarakat. Hal ini terlihat dari pendekatan teori unsur pendidikan politik Kartono yang meliputi unsur pengenalan, pemahaman, berfikir kritis, merubah sikap dan melakukan perbuatan nyata. Pendidikan politik masyarakat dapat dilihat melalui program kerja dan kegiatan yang dilakukan PKS. Salah satu program andalan DPD PKS dalam melakukan pendidikan politik ialah program DS (Direct Selling) dimana para kader partai datang ke rumah warga dan memberikan pemahaman tentang proses pemilu tidak lupa memperkenalkan diri. Kegiatan PKS yang mengarah kepada pendidikan politik ialah sosialisasi politik kemasyarakat, mengadakan pengajian dan dakwah, cek kesehatan, donor darah dan pasar terbuka. Kata kunci : Fungsi partai politik, pendidikan politik, masyarakat, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera ABSTRACT The decrease of the result of Partai Keadilan Sejahtera’s (PKS) total vote in Metro city on 2009 made PKS often do society political education. The case that reputed interesting by the researcher is wheter it is true if politics education that is done by PKS as the framer to make the society smart in politics or it is only a party mobilization. The purpose of this research is to understand the implementation of politics education function that was done by regional council (DPD) PKS for Metro’s society in general elections 2014. Furthermore, the researcher used descriptive qualitative method and the research data was collected by using interview deeply. The data sources of this research were the administrators of DPD PKS and society in Kota Metro. Then, the data was analyzed by using reduction process and interpretation. The result of this research is PKS regional council have given politics education for the society. It seems from the theory apprachment of Kartono’s politics education that cover from substance, they are identification, comprehension, critical thought, change the attitude and do the real change. Society politics education can be seen from works program and the activity that was done by PKS. The one of mainstay regional council’s program to do the politics education is “DS” program that where the cadre come to citizen’s house and give the comperehension about the general elections process never foorget to introduction it self. PKS’s activity aim to politic education is socialization of from a group politics, hold recitation of the Qur’an and religius proselytizing, medical test, blood donor and opened market.
