Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV A SD Negeri 1 Metro Pusat Kota Metro yang diketahui dari hasil observasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non tes dan tes yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 63,47 (C+) meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 79,03 (B+). Rata-rata nilai afektif siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 60,26 (C) meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 81,30 (A). Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar kognitif siswa siklus 1 yaitu 63,7 (C+) meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 81,18 (A). Penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik di kelas IV A SD Negeri 1 Metro Pusat. The aims of this research were to increase the problem solving skill and the learning result of the students through the implementation of project based learning model. The kind of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research have done for two cycles. Every cycles consist of four step (planning, acting, observing, and reflecting). The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test. The technique of data analyze used qualitative and quantitative technique. The result of the research showed that the implementation of project based learning model can increase the problem solving skill and the learning result of the students. This case can be seen from the average score of the students’ problem solving skill in first cycle was 63,47 (C+) and second cycle was 79,03 (B+). Average of affective study result in first cycle was 60,26 (C) and second cycle was 81,30 (A). Average of cognitive study result in first cycle was 63,7 (C+) and second cycle was 81,18 (A).
