Abstrak

Masalah dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik serta LKPD yang digunakan saat pembelajaran belum mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V SD di Kecamatan Metro Utara. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk LKPD berbasis quantum learning yang layak dan mengetahui efektivitas LKPD berbasis quantum learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang merujuk pada teori Borg & Gall. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD di Kecamatan Metro Utara. Sampel penelitian yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling adalah 33 peserta didik kelas VA UPTD SD Negeri 1 Metro Utara. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar angket, lembar observasi dan soal tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis quantum learning layak digunakan, serta efeketif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. LKPD berbasis quantum learning juga efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, dibuktikan dengan hasil belajar peserta didik pada skor pretest dan posttest dengan hasil perhitungan Gain sebesar 0,55 dengan kategori “Sedang”. Kata kunci: LKPD, quantum learning, berpikir kritis Alif Via Sufianti ABSTRACT The problem of the research and development was the low ability of critical thinking students and the worksheet used during learning does not support the ability of critical thinking of 5th grade Elementary School in North Metro. The research and development of worksheet based on quantum learning aims to produce worksheet based on quantum learning is feasible and the effectiveness of development student worksheet based on quantum learning to improve the ability of critical thinking students in 5th grade Elementary School. The type of research used is research and development that refers to the theory of Borg & Gall. The population of this research is the students of 5th grade Elementary School in North Metro. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique was 33 students in 5 th grade class A of Elementary School 1 North Metro. Data were collected used questionnaires, observation sheet and test questions. The results showed that worksheet based on Quantum Learning is feasible to use and effectively to increase the ability of critical thinking students. This is evidenced by the results of the validation of material experts and media experts in the "Very Good" category. The worksheet based on Quantum Learning is also effectively to improve the ability of critical thinking students, evidenced by the learning outcomes of students on the pretest and posttest scores with Gain calculation results of 0.55 with the category "Medium".
