Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

ABSTRAK Sifat tanah organik antara lain adalah daya dukung tanahnya yang rendah untuk menahan beban diatasnya dan tingginya penurunan permukaan tanah. Salah satu cara mengatasi sifat tersebut dengan cara menstabilisasinya. Pada penelitian ini stabilisasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahan tambah Ecomix dan semen. Tanah organik yang telah distabilisasi akan di uji dalam beberapa pengujian, antara lain: uji pemadatan, uji CBR, Uji batas Atteberg, dan uji berat jenis yang dilakukan pada sampel-sampel dengan variasi campuran Ecomix dan semen, hasil yang didapat berupa data hasil percobaan, tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengetahui peningkatan daya dukung tanah organik yang telah distabilisasi menggunakan zat additive Ecomix yang dicampur dengan semen; 2) mengetahui pengaruh batas-batas konsistensi tanah organik yang di stabilisasi dengan zat additive Ecomix; 3) mengetahui perbandingan karakteristik fisik sampel tanah sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan stabilisasi menggunakan zat additive Ecomix; 3) menemukan salah satu alternatif bahan stabilisasi untuk tanah organik. Variasi penambahan Ecomix adalah 1gr, 2gr dan 3gr pada tiap sampel dan variasi kadar semen pada tiap sampel adalah 0 %, 2% dan 3% dari berat sampel tersebut. Pada hasil uji pemadatan menunjukkan penurunan kadar air optimum dan peningkatan berat volume kering pada setiap variasi campuran dibanding dengan sebelum stabilisasi sampel. Hasil pengujian CBR rendaman mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan penambahan Ecomix dan kadar semen. Uji CBR tanpa rendam Ecomix meningkatkan nilai rata-rata CBR. Dengan didapatnya nilai-nilai yang terukur dari hasil pengujian di Laboraturium, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penambahan campuran Ecomix dan semen pada sampel tanah organik dapat meningkatkan nilai CBR, menurunkan kadar air optimum, meningkatkan nilai berat jenis, dan menurunkan indeks plastisitas. Ecomix dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan alternatif untuk stabilisasi tanah organik. Kata kunci : Ecomix, stabilisasi tanah, tanah organik, CBR. ABSTRACT Some of organic soil properties are lower soil bearing capacity to sustain load above it and the lowering ground surface settlement. One of efforts to overcome these properties is by stabilizing the properties. Stabilization in this research was conducted by Ecomix additional material and cement. The stabilized organic soil were tested in some tests including compaction test, CBR test, Atterberg limit test, and specific gravity test. These tests were conducted to samples containing of varying Ecomix and cement mixtures. The obtained results were treated as data of test results. The objectives of this research were: 1) to find out improvement of soil bearing capacity of the stabilized soil with Ecomix additional material and cement; 2) to find out the influences of organic soil limit consistencies of the organic soil stabilized with Ecomix additive material; 3) to find out comparisons of physical properties of soil samples before and after stabilization with Ecomix additive material; and 4) to find out a stabilizing alternative for organic soil. The variations of Ecomix additions were 1 gr, 2 gr, and 3 gr in each sample and the variations of cement content in each sample were 0%, 2%, and 3% from the sample weight. The compaction test results showed decreased optimum water content and increased dry density of each mixture after soil stabilization. The soaked CBR test results showed improvement along with Ecomix and cement content additions. The CBR test results without soaking showed improvement of average CBR values. This research obtained measured values from the laboratory tests and the conclusion is that the Ecomix and cement addition in organic soil sample improve CBR values, reduce optimum water content, improve specific gravity values, and reduce plasticity index.
