Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretes-postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini kelas X1 dan X2 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas siswa yang mencakup bekerjasama dengan teman, kegiatan diskusi dan mempresentasikan hasil diskusi yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media audio visual meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata N-gain sebesar 25,32. Rata-rata N-gain pada indikator C2 sebesar 23,15 dan indikator C4 sebesar 28,49. Aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen untuk semua aspek memperoleh rata-rata 76,19% dengan kriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa pada materi pokok kingdom animalia. The aim of this research to know the effect of audio visual media towards learning achievement and students learning activities. This research design was pretest-postest non equivalent group. Samples were class X1 and X2 that was chosen by purposive sampling. The quantitative data was obtained from the average value of pretest, postest, and N-gain were analyzed using U-test. The qualitative data was students learning activities which includes teamwork, discussion and presentation discussion results that were analyzed descriptively. The result showed that the audio visual media can improve students learning achievement proof with N-gain average was 25,32. N-gain average of C2 indicator was 23,15 and C4 indicator was 28,49. Learning activitiesof studentsfrom experimental had average76,19% with high criteria for all aspects. Thus, learning by audio visual media gave significant influence to improve students learning achievement and student learning activities for kingdom animalia subject matter.
