Abstrak

Dekstrin adalah produk hidrolisis pati yang dibuat dengan cara pemotongan rantai utama pada pati. Dekstrin digunakan untuk pengisi tablet obat, sebagai pelapis permukaan kertas, meningkatkan tekstur bahan pangan dan lainlain. Dekstrin dapat diproduksi melalui beberapa proses yaitu Hidrolisis Asam dan Hidrolisis Enzim. Dalam Pra-Rancangan Pabrik Dekstrin ini dipilih proses Hidrolisis Enzim yang ditinjau dari segi ekonomi dan termodinamika lebih menguntungkan dibandingkan dengan proses lainnya. Kapasitas produksi pabrik direncanakan 30.000 ton/tahun dengan 330 hari kerja dalam 1 tahun. Lokasi pabrik direncanakan didirikan di daerah Ujung Batu, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, Riau. Tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 186 orang dengan bentuk badan usaha Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur Utama yang dibantu oleh Direktur Produksi, Direktur Pemasaran dan Keuangan, serta Direktur SDM dan Umum dengan struktur organisasi line and staff. Penyediaan kebutuhan utilitas pabrik berupa sistem pengolahan dan penyediaan air, pembangkit steam, cooling water, sistem penyediaan udara instrumen, dan sistem pembangkit tenaga listrik. Dari analisis ekonomi diperoleh: Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp 329.858.779.579 Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp 58.210.372.867 Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp 388.069.152.446 Break Even Point (BEP) = 37,08% Shut Down Point (SDP) = 22,68% Pay Out Time before taxes (POT)b = 1,44 tahun Pay Out Time after taxes (POT)a = 2,02 tahun Return on Investment before taxes (ROI)b = 56,24% Return on Investment after taxes (ROI)a = 42,18% Discounted cash flow (DCF) = 50,12% Mempertimbangkan rangkuman di atas, sudah selayaknya pendirian pabrik Dekstrin ini dikaji lebih lanjut, karena merupakan pabrik yang menguntungkan dan mempunyai prospek yang baik. Dextrin is a starch hydrolysis product made by cutting the main chains of starch. Dextrin is used to fill medicine tablets, as paper surface coatings, improve the texture of foodstuffs and others. Dextrin can be produced through several processes namely Acid Hydrolysis and Enzyme Hydrolysis. In the Pre-Design of Dextrin Plant, the enzyme hydrolysis process was chosen, which is viewed from an economic and thermodynamic point of view, which is more beneficial compared to other processes. Plant's production capacity is planned 30,000 tons / year with 330 working days in a year. Manufacturing site is planned industrial park was established in the region of Ujung Batu, Rokan Hulu State, Riau. Manpower needed as many as 186 people with a business entity form Limited Liability Company (PT) which is headed by a Director who is assisted by the Director of Production and Director of Finance with line and staff organizational structure. The utility units consist of water supply system, cooling water, instrument air supply systems, and power generation systems.
