Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menemukan peningkatan nilai membaca siswa setelah diajarkan melalui jigsaw cooperative learning dan (2) menginvestigasi aspek yang meningkat dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membaca makro ketika jigsaw cooperative learning diterapkan. Data didapat dari soal-soal membaca dan diolah menggunakan Reapeted Measured t-test. Hasil menunjukan bahwa t-ratio lebih besar daripada t-table (7.056>2.045). Itu berarti ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test pada nilai pemahaman membaca siswa. Peningkatan antara pre-test dan post-test adalah 12.5. Itu berarti bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai membaca siswa. Itu berarti bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai membaca siswa. Semua aspek dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membaca makro mengalami kenaikan. Kenaikan tertinggi dicapai pada penarikan kesimpulan dimana meningkat 18 dari 16 ke 85. Dapat dikatakan bahwa jigsaw cooperative learning dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca makro siswa. The objectives of the research were: (1) to find out whether there is an improvement on students’ reading achievement after being taught through jigsaw cooperative learning and (2) to investigate which aspects in learning macro skills of reading comprehension significantly improve when jigsaw cooperative learning implemented. The data were collected by means of reading tests and the data were computed using Reapeted Measured t-test. The results showed that t-ratio was higher than t-table (7.056>2.045). It means that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test. The increase between pre-test and post-test was 12.5. It means there was a significant improvement of the students’ reading achievement. All aspect in learning macro skills of reading comprehension improved. The highest improvement was achieved by making inference increased 18 from 67 up to 85. The result showed that jigsaw cooperative learning can be used to improve students’ macro skills of reading comprehension. Keywords: jigsaw cooperative learning, reading, reading achievement.
