ABSTRAK Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 20 Bandar Lampung semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam tujuh kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, terpilih dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Ber-dasarkan analisis data dengan uji t, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS berpengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effect of cooperative learning model of two stay two stray type towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The design of this research was posttest only control design. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 20 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2014/2015 that was distributed into seven classes. By purposive sampling technique, two classes were chosen as samples. The research data were obtained by test of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. Based on data analysis by t-test, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of TSTS type has a positive effect towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.
