Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan dan keefektifan ebook pendidikan agama katolik dan budi pekerti berbasis lingkungan yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan karakter peserta didik kelas V SDS Sejahtera. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4D (four D). Subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas V SDS Sejahtera. Penilaian karakter dalam penelitian ini dibatasi hanya pada lima nilai karakter, yaitu: religius, kreatif, mandiri, peduli lingkungan dan peduli sosial. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengukur karakter peserta didik berupa pre observasi dan post observasi pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengembangan ebook PAK dan BP berbasis lingkungan layak digunakan, dengan skor persentase validasi ahli materi 94%, ahli media 86%, ahli bahasa 87%, serta hasil N-Gain pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,23 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,43 sehingga efektif untuk meningkatkan karakter peserta didik. Kata kunci: Ebook, Nilai Karakter, Pendidikan Agama Katolik dan Budi Pekerti This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Environmental-based Catholic and Character Education ebook which is used to improve the character of the fifth grade students of SDS Sejahtera. This research method is research and development with a 4D (four D) development model. The research subjects were the fifth grade students of SDS Sejahtera. The character assessment in this study is limited to five character values, namely: religious, creative, independent, environmental care and social care. The instrument used to measure the character of students in the form of pre-observation and post-observation in the control and experimental classes. The results of this study indicate the development of environmental-based PAK and BP ebooks is feasible, with a percentage score of 94% validation of material expert, 86% of media experts, 87% of linguists, and the results of N-Gain in the control class are 0,23 and the experimental class are 0,43 so it is effective for improving the character of students.
