Abstrak

This research aims to: (1) to analyze the differences of learning achievement antarmetode economy (problem solving and discussion) and student motivation (high and Low) together, (2) to analyze the differences between the results of the economic study of learning by using the method of problem solving and learning by using the method of discussion, (3) analyzing the economic differences between students' learning outcomes that a high level of motivation and low motivation, (4) determine significant interaction antarmetode learning (problem solving and discussion) with the motivation to learn (high and low), and (5) determine which teaching methods are more effective among the methods of problem solving and discussion for learning economics. The design of this study is experimental factorial approach. Sample is students who have learning motivation high and low, respectively 21 students. Collecting data using observation, documentation, and testing. To prove the hypothesis in this study used statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA) factorial design. Based on the analysis of data obtained beritkut hasils as: (1) no distinction economic achievement antarmetode learning (problem solving and discussion) and antarmotivasi students (high and low) together, (2) there was no difference in learning outcomes between the learning economy using the method of problem solving and learning by using the method of discussion, (3) there are economic differences between students' learning outcomes that a high level of motivation and low motivation, (4) there is no significant interaction antarmetode learning (problem solving and discussion) and student motivation (high and low), (5) more effective problem solving methods used in carrying out the learning process of economic discussion on the method. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi antarmetode pembelajaran (problem solving dan diskusi) dan motivasi belajar siswa (tinggi dan Rendah) secara bersama-sama, (2) menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi antara pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode problem solving dan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi, (3) menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi antar siswa yang tingkat motivasinya tinggi dan motivasinya rendah, (4) mengetahui interaksi yang signifikan antarmetode pembelajaran (problem solving dan diskusi) dengan motivasi belajar (tinggi dan rendah), dan (5) mengetahui metode pembelajaran mana yang lebih efektif antara metode problem solving dan diskusi untuk pembelajaran ekonomi. Rancangan penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen dengan pendekatan faktorial. Sampelnya adalah siswa yang mempunyai motivasi belajar tinggi dan rendah, masing-masing 21 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Untuk membuktikan hipotesis dalam penelitian ini digunakan statistik analisis varian (ANAVA) desain factorial. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasils sebagai beritkut: (1) ada pembedaan hasil belajar ekonomi antarmetode pembelajaran (problem solving dan diskusi) dan antarmotivasi belajar siswa (tinggi dan rendah) secara bersama-sama; (2) tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi antara pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode problem solving dan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi; (3) ada perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi antara siswa yang tingkat motivasinya tinggi dan motivasinya rendah; (4) tidak terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antarmetode pembelajaran (problem solving dan diskusi) dan motivasi belajar siswa (tinggi dan rendah); (5) metode problem solving lebih efektif digunakan dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran ekonomi dari pada metode diskusi .
