Abstract
ABSTRACT Let ring, -module and be a generating set of . -module be a finitely generated of if is countably set. Sum of submodules of the -module is called direct sum if intersection of submodules is and sum of submodules is -module . In this research, will be described characterization direct sums of finitely generated modules. is a direct sum of finitely generated modules if and only if every finitely generated submodule of is contained in a finitely generated direct summand. Keyword: Module, Generating Set, Direct Sum ABSTRAK Misalkan adalah ring, adalah -modul dan adalah himpunan yang membangun . -modul dikatakan dibangun berhingga oleh jika adalah himpunan berhingga.
