Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model guided inquiry learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Seputih Raman tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang terdistribusi dalam delapan kelas yaitu kelas VIII-A sampai VIII-H. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B yang dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data pada penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil tes uraian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji- dengan . Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model guided inquiry learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Kata kunci: guided inquiry learning, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. This research aimed to find out effect of guided inquiry learning assisted by student‟s mathematical problem solving ability. The population of this research was all students of 8th grade SMPN 1 Seputih Raman for the academic year 2022/2023 which was distributed into eight classes that are classes VIII-A to VIII-H. The samples of this research were students of class VIII-A and VIII-B who were selected using cluster random sampling. The form of this research data was quantitative data obtained from the results of description test. Data analyzed using t-test with . The result of this research is that guided inquiry learning affects the student‟s mathematical problem solving ability.
