Abstract
ABSTRAK Komunikasi pada saat ini membawa kita seakan kedalam dunia yang serba instan termasuk berkomunikasi melalui video maupun belajar melalui media video. Video tutorial merupakan bagian dari komunikasi instruksional. Video tutorial adalah salah satu bentuk dari komunikasi instruksional yang menggunakan saluran audio-visual. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana indikator informasi dalam video tutorial diaplikasikan dalam praktik latihan freestyle motor. (2) Apakah video tutorial sebagai media komunikasi intruksional berperan dalam proses pembelajaran teknik freestyle motor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui pengaplikasian indikator informasi dari video tutorial dalam praktek latihan freestyle motor. (2) Mengetahui peranan video tutorial sebagai media komunikasi instruksional dalam proses pembelajaran teknik freestyle motor. Penelitian ini berdasarkan teori imitasi yang dikemukakan oleh Albert Bandura, yang juga lazim dikenal sebagai Teori Pembelajaran Sosial. Tipe penelitian dengan cara kualitatif deskriptif digunakan sebagai metode dalam penelitian ini. Data primer dari penelitian ini adalah hasil wawancara dengan enam informan yang merupakan freestyler Team Lampung X-treme All-Star “L.X.A” di Bandar Lampung, informasi dari ke enam informan tersebut didapat berdasarkan teknik wawancara dan observasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Berdasarkan pada tujuan penelitian maka penulis mengambil kesimpulan bahwa dalam penggunaan video tutorial dalam praktek freestyle motor ada 2 indikator yaitu basic dan extreme. Yang pada dasarnya video tutorial pada 2 tahapan tersebut dapat membantu freestyler dalam praktek latihan. Sedangkan untuk peranan video tutorial dalam proses pembelajaran teknik freestyle motor adalah sebagai sumber informasi dan motivator bagi freestyler. Sedangkan saran penulis untuk pihak yang menggeluti freestyle motor khususnya Lampung X-treme All-Star. Kepada anggota senior Lampung X-treme All-Star yang berperan sebagai instruktur dalam latihan agar mengajak para anggota baru menonton video freestyle motor bersama-sama, baik yang showreel dan tutorial. Kepada anggota baru Lampung X-treme All-Star diharapkan selalu aktif untuk dapat memaksimalkan peran anggota senior yang bertugas menjadi pendamping di setiap latihan freestyle motor dan kegiatan lainnya. Kepada freestyler yang membuat video tutorial, khususnya yang berada di Indonesia untuk membuat video tersebut berisi informasi yang detail. Bagi peneliti lain yang ingin meneliti tentang video tutorial ataupun mengenai freestyle motor, diharapkan untuk terlebih dahulu memahami makna freestyle motor serta terlibat dalam beberapa proses latihan langsung. Kata Kunci: video tutorial, peningkatan kemampuan, teknik freestyle motor ABSTRACT Communication at this point leads us into a world that seemed almost instantaneous includes communicating through video and learn through the media of video. Video tutorials is part of the instructional communication. Video tutorial is one form of communication instructional use of audio-visual channels. Problem Formulations in this study are: (1) How does the information in the video tutorial indicators applied in freestyle exercise motorcycle practice. (2) Is the video tutorial as instructional communication media play a role in the learning process of motorcycle freestyle technique. The aim of this study are: (1) Determine the application indicator information of video tutorials in freestyle exercise motorcycle practice. (2) Determine the role of video tutorial as instructional communication media in the process of motorcycle learning freestyle technique. This study is based on imitation theory proposed by Albert Bandura, which is also commonly known as Social Learning Theory. Research method with descriptive qualitative way used in this study. Primary data from this study is the result of interviews with six informants who are freestyler Lampung X-treme Team All-Star "LXA" in Bandar Lampung, the information from the six informants were obtained by interview and observation techniques appropriate to the needs of the research. Based on the purpose of the study, the authors conclude that the use of video tutorial in practice there are two indicators freestyle motorcycle, they are basic and extreme. Basically a video tutorial on the second stage can help freestyler in practice. As for the video tutorial role in the learning process of motorcycle freestyle technique is as a source of information and a motivator for freestylers. While the author's suggestion that the particular freestyle motorcycle they are in Lampung X-treme All-Star. To senior members of Lampung X-treme All-Star who act as instructors in training to invite new members to watch the video freestyle bike together, both the showreel and tutorials. New recruits Lampung X-treme All-Star is expected to always be active in order to maximize the role of senior members who had been a companion in every freestyle exercise motorcycle and other activities. To freestyler who create video tutorials, especially those in Indonesia to make the video contains detailed information. For other researchers who want to investigate about the video tutorial or about freestyle motorcycle, is expected to first understand the meaning of freestyle motorcycle and engage in some direct training process.
