Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan perencanaan peserta didik, pengorganisasian peserta didik, pelaksanaan peserta didik, pengawasan peserta didik, faktor pendukung dan kendala dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta didik di MTs Darul A`mal Metro.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus tunggal di MTs Darul A`mal Metro.Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi.Informan peneliti adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala peserta didik, pembina kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, guru bimbingan dan konseling, wali kelas, siswa, dan orang tua siswa.Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) perencanaan peserta didik dilakukan dengan mengadakan rapat awal tahun dengan membahas daya tampung siswa, perencanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru dan mengadakan orientasi peserta didik baru, (2) pengorganisasian peserta didik dilakukan dengan cara mengelompokan siswa ke dalam kelas berdasarkan kemampuan akademik dan memberi wewenang kepada wali kelas untuk membinanya, (3) pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta didik diawali dengan kegiatan pembinaan dan pengembangan peserta didik melalui kurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler, kemudian diadakan pencatatan dan pelaporan, menjalin komunikasi dengan para alumni, dan memberikan layanan-layanan bagi peserta didik, (4) pengawasan dilakukan kepala sekolah dengan cara memantau kegiatan peserta didik secara langsung dan membuat hasil laporan setiap bulan, melakukan evaluasi kepada peserta didik secara berkala (5) Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta didik di MTs Darul A`mal Metro adalah pelajaran agama Pondok Pesantren Darul A`mal Metro, memiliki kelengkapan sarana dan prasaran, kualitas SDM didukung 90% guru telah Sarjana, status akreditasi B. Sedangkan faktor kendala pelaksanaan kegiatan peserta didik adalah kurangnya kerjasama yang baik antara pengelola pondok antara pihak sekolah, komunikasi dengan wali murid kurang lancar. Kata kunci: Manajemen Peserta Didik, Perencanaan, Pengorganisasian, Pelaksanaan, Pengawasan. The aim of this study was to analyze and describe: studentship planning, studentship organization, studentship implementation, studentshipmonitoring, supporting factors, and obstacles in the implementation of studentship activities in MTs Darul A`mal Metro. This study used a qualitative approach with a single case study design. Data were collected through interviews, documentation and observation. Theinformants were the principal, vice principal for student affairs, extracurricular activity coach, homeroom teacher, students, and parents of the students.The data analysis use Miles and Huberman`s Models. Results of this study are: (1) studentship planning was initiated by holding the new academic year meeting to discuss calculation of the school capacity for accepting new students and conduct orientation of new students, (2) student organization was done by grouping students into classes based on academic ability and giving authorization to homeroom teacher to provide some coaching, (3) the implementation of studentship started with the coaching and development of students through curricular and extracurricular activities, and then did recording and reporting, established communication with alumni, and provided services for students, (4) monitoring of students’ activities was directly carried out bythe principal and the results were reported every month to evaluate students periodically, (5) supporting factors in the implementation of studentship activities in MTs Darul A`mal Metro were Islamic subjects, sufficient facilities and infrastructure, good quality human resources (90% of the teachers held undergraduate degree), and school accreditation status B. However, (6) there were some obstacles in the implementation of studentship activities such as lack of good cooperation between the Islamic boarding school management and the school management, and less effective communication with parents of the students.
