ABSTRACT THE INFLEUNCE LEADERSHIP STYLE AND MOTIVATION THROUGH EMPLOYEE’S PERFORMANCE IN THE CITY RESTRUCTURING PROGRAM in 2011 (Study in Dinas Tata Kota Bandar Lampung) Performance is a quality and quantity of working result obtained by an employee in conducting his/her job according to responsibilities given to him/her. In conducting its function, a performance is influenced by some factors; they are motivation and leadership style. To accomplish a performance, one should have a high motivation and it could be raised from a leadership style of a leader. The objective of this research is to find out influences of leadership style and motivation to employees’ performance in Dinas Tata Kota Bandar Lampung both partially and simultaneously. This research used a statistic inferenscial method. Respondents were all 40 employees of Dinas Tata Kota Bandar Lampung. Data were collected using questionnaires with Likert scales. Data were analyzed using simple tabulation analysis, correlation analysis, determination coefficient and regression analysis using SPSS 20.0 software. The research results showed that partially the leadership style and motivation influenced 10.3% and 15.05% respectively the employees’ performances in Dinas Tata Kota Bandar Lampung. Simultaneously, the leadership style and motivation influenced 12.9% the employees’ performance with lower level of influence in variation of employees’ performance variable increase changes, while the rest was influenced by other factors beyond this model of research.
