Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Youtube social media “Bonjour De France” in improving students' French recipe writing skills. The subjects of this study were students of class XI Hospitality 2 SMKN 3 Bandarlampung consisting of 25 students. This research is a quantitative experimental research. This study used a pre-experiment design, one group pretestposttest design. Data analysis used t-test, n-gain test, normality test, homogeneity test, validity test, and reliability test using SPSS 25 and Excel. Based on the results of the data that has been collected, the pre-test has an average value of 61 and the post-test has an average value of 80. Based on these results, an increase of 19 was obtained. Then the t-test was obtained significance of 0.000 which means the hypothesis is accepted. In addition, there is a significant difference between the pretest and post-test with the n-gain test result of 0.6397. which is included in the moderate category, and the results of the questionnaire, some students stated that the Youtube social media Bonjour de France was very interesting, interactive, and helped in understanding the material, especially the imperative sentence structure. As many as 64% of students felt more confident, and there was an increase in the post-test score from 61 to 80. These findings indicate that YouTube can be an effective, flexible, and relevant learning medium in foreign language learning. Keyword : Writing Skills, Bonjour de France, Food Recipes.
