Abstrak

ABSTRAK PERAN PENGAWAS SEKOLAH DALAM IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM 2013 PADA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI DI KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS OLEH SYAHRUDDIN Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran pengawas sekolah membina guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan (1) Peran pengawas sekolah dalam memantau guru (2) Peran pengawas dalam mensupervisi guru. (3) Peran pengawas dalam mengevaluasi guru pada implementasi kurikulum 2013 di SMA Negeri di Tanggamus. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan penelitian kualitatif, sesuai dengan hakekat penenlitian kualitatif maka penelitian ini bersumber pada pengamatan dilapangan dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dan diberikan interpretasi untuk selanjutnya diambil kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi dan pengamatan atau observasi. Teknik pemilihan responden atau informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dilanjutkan dengan teknik snowball. Hasil penelitian : 1)Pengawas sekolah memeriksa persiapan guru tentang pemilihan materi yang sesuai dalam penyusunan setiap rencana program pembelajaran yang telah dibuat oleh guru. Pemantauan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan memeriksa perangkat yang dibuat oleh guru untuk menyesuaiakan antara kompetensi inti, kompetensi dasar, dengan indikator yang dibuat oleh guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013. 2. Pengawas melakukan bimbingan yang diberikan pada guru dalam rangka menindaklanjuti hasil pemantauan. Bimbingan yang di lakukan oleh pengawas adalah dalam membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum, penggunaan model pembelajaran yang menggunakan saintifik dan penilaian yang otentik. 3) Pengawas sekolah dalam melakukan evaluasi terhadap kinerja guru belum sepenuhnya dilakukan sesuai dengan ketentuan, Pengawas melakukan evaluasi tentang penilaian otentik, penilaian portopolio laian yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam memberikan nilai pada anak didik. Kata kunci : Implementasi Kurikulum 2013,, Pengawas Sekolah, ABSTRACT ROLES OF SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENTS IN IMPLEMENTING CURRICULUM 2013 IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS (SMA) IN TANGGAMUS DISTRICT (A Case Study in SMAN 1 Sumberejo) By SYAHRUDDIN This study focused on the roles of school superintendents in implementing Curriculum 2013 in Senior High Schools (SMA) in Tanggamus, with the following sub-foci: (1) the role of the superintendent in monitoring teachers, (2) the role the superintendent as a supervisor, (3) implementation of the superintendent’s roles in evaluating teachers in implementing Curriculum 2013 in Public Senior High Schools (SMAN) in Tanggamus District. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. The collected data were then analyzed and interpreted, leading to conclusions. Respondents or informants were selected using purposive sampling, and followed by snowball sampling, initially from the superintendent, then the principal and teachers of SMAN 1 Sumberejo, Tanggamus District. Results of this study are: (1) the school superintendent monitored the teachers’ preparation concerning appropriate material selection in constructing every learning program plan made by teachers for the purpose of implementing Curriculum 2013. Monitoring was carried out by including selection of appropriate teaching materials in preparing each plan of learning programs created by teachers. Monitoring was carried out by examining the devices made by the teachers to adjust the core competencies and basic competencies with indicators made by the teachers in implementing Curriculum 2013. (2) The school superintendent carried out mentoring and followed up the results of previous meeting. The school superintendents supervised the teachers in order to follow up the results of monitoring. Supervision done by the school superintendents was in the case of creating a lesson plan that was in accordance with the demands of the curriculum, the use of learning models that used scientific and authentic assessment. (3) The superintendent in carrying out evaluation towards the teachers’ performance did not fully fit Curriculum 2013. The superintendent evaluated the authentic and portfolio assessment, accompanied by asking a question on how the teachers conduct assessment processes to assign a mark to the students.
