Abstract
Given a ring R . An additive mapping δ : R → R is called a homoderivation if δ satisfies δ(ab) = δ(a)b + aδ(b) + δ(a)δ(b), for every a, b ∈ R. In this study, homoderivations on R are applied to the semigroup ring R[S] to investigate their properties. This research begins by constructing homoderivations on the semigroup ring R[S], investigating the connection between homoderivations on R and homoderivations on R[S], and is followed by an investigate of their specific properties within the algebraic structure. Additionally, illustrative examples are presented to support the theories and theorems obtained. The concept of homoderivations expands our understanding of algebraic structures through its application to semigroup rings. Keywords: semigroup rings, derivation, homoderivation. Diberikan ring R. Suatu pemetaan aditif δ : R → R disebut homoderivasi jika δ memenuhi δ(ab) = δ(a)b+aδ(b)+δ(a)δ(b), untuk setiap a, b ∈ R. Dalam penelitian ini, homoderivasi pada R diterapkan pada ring semigrup R[S] untuk menyelidiki sifat-sifatnya. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengkonstruksi homoderivasi pada ring semigrup R[S], menyelidiki kaitan antara homoderivasi pada R dan homoderivasi pada R[S] serta diikuti dengan menyelidiki sifat-sifat khususnya dalam struktur aljabar. Selain itu, diberikan contoh ilustrasi untuk mendukung teori dan teorema yang diperoleh. Konsep homoderivasi memperluas pemahaman tentang struktur aljabar melalui penerapannya pada ring semigrup.
