Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi mahasiswa semester akhir dalam menyusun skripsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan teman sebaya dengan motivasi mahasiswa semester akhir dalam menyusun skripsi di Jurusan Ilmu Pendidikan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lampung Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasi product moment. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester akhir angkatan 2022 dari tiga program studi, yaitu Bimbingan dan Konseling, Pendidikan Jasmani, dan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 78 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Hasil uji korelasi product moment menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi r hitung > r tabel (0,490 > 0,1876) dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05). Hipotesis nol menyatakan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan teman sebaya dengan motivasi mahasiswa semester akhir dalam menyusun skripsi ditolak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara dukungan teman sebaya dengan motivasi mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi pada kategori sedang, yang bermakna semakin tinggi dukungan teman sebaya maka semakin tinggi motivasi mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi, begitupun sebaliknya semakin rendah dukungan teman sebaya maka semakin rendah motivasi mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi. Kata kunci: dukungan teman sebaya, motivasi, mahasiswa semester akhir, skripsi The problem in this study is the low motivation among final-semester students in completing their thesis. This study aims to analyze the relationship between peer support and the motivation of final-semester students in completing their thesis in the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Lampung, Academic Year 2025/2026. This study employed a quantitative approach using the product moment correlation method. The study population consisted of final-semester students from the 2022 cohort across three study programs, namely Guidance and Counseling, Physical Education, and Early Childhood Education, with a total sample of 78 respondents determined through incidental sampling technique. The results of the product moment correlation test showed a correlation coefficient of r-count > r-table (0.490 > 0.1876) with a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). The null hypothesis stating that there is no significant relationship between peer support and the motivation of final-semester students in completing their thesis was rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between peer support and student motivation in completing their thesis in the moderate category, meaning that the higher the peer support, the higher the student motivation in completing their thesis, and conversely, the lower the peer support, the lower the student motivation in completing their thesis.
