Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan akademik terhadap penguatan civic Responsibility mahasiswa program studi PPKn Universitas Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa PPKn Universitas Lampung angkatan 2022, 2023 dan 2024.Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 76 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik utama yaitu angket dan tes serta teknik pendukung yaitu wawancara. Analisis data penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Berdasarkan penelitian ini Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kegiatan akademik terhadap penguatan karakter civic responsibility pada mahasiswa PPKn FKIP Universitas Lampung. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05) dan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,991, yang berarti kegiatan akademik memberikan kontribusi sebesar 99,1% terhadap pembentukan karakter civic responsibility melalui Kegiatan akademik yang meliputi partisipasi dalam perkuliahan dan diskusi ilmiah, keikutsertaan dalam seminar/kuliah umum/workshop, serta keterlibatan dalam penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat berpengaruh positif terhadap ketiga indikator civic responsibility. Kata Kunci: civic Responsibility, mahasiswa, penguatan karakter, Pendidikan kewarganegaraan This study aimed to determine the effect of academic activities on strengthening civic responsibility among students of the PPKn Study Program at Universitas Lampung. The research method used in this study was a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were PPKn students of Universitas Lampung from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 cohorts. The sample in this study consisted of 76 respondents. The data collection techniques used were primary techniques, namely questionnaires and tests, and a supporting technique, namely interviews. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicated that there was a significant effect of academic activities on strengthening the character of civic responsibility among PPKn FKIP Universitas Lampung students. This was evidenced by the results of a simple linear regression test showing a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.991, which meant that academic activities contributed 99.1% to the formation of civic responsibility character. Academic activities, including participation in lectures and discussions, attendance at seminars/public lectures/workshops, as well as involvement in research and community service, had a positive effect on the three indicators of civic responsibility.
