Abstract

This research aims to analyze the cost structure, production cost, and income of rice farming. The research location was deliberately determined in Seputih Mataram District, Central Lampung Regency. Data were collected from December 2025 - February 2026. The sample size in this study was 74 samples taken from 2 villages, namely Rejosari Mataram Village and Fajar Mataram Village. The cost structure was explained by identifying variable cost and fixed cost, while the cost of production was calculated using variable costing and full costing methods. Agricultural income was determined by the difference between total revenue and total cost, and was then analyzed using the R/C Ratio approach. The results showed that the cost structure with the largest variable cost component was labor cost at 55.50% and the largest fixed cost component was land rental cost at 88.20% of the total cost. The value of the cost of rice production with variable costing was Rpp2,462.93/kg while with full costing it was Rpp3,492.83/kg. Farmers' income based on cash cost was Rp20,182,867.71/ha, while their income based on total cost was Rp 12,983,010.90/ha, with a R/C ratio of 2.89 for cash cost and 1.73 for total cost. Keywords : Rice, cost structure, cost of production, income Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur biaya, biaya pokok produksi, dan pendapatan usahatani padi. Lokasi penelitian sengaja ditentukan di Seputih, Kecamatan Mataram, Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Data dikumpulkan dari Desember 2025 - Februari 2026. Ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 74 sampel yang diambil dari 2 desa, yaitu Desa Rejosari Mataram dan Desa Fajar Mataram. Struktur biaya dijelaskan dengan mengidentifikasi biaya variabel dan biaya tetap, sedangkan biaya produksi dihitung menggunakan metode biaya variabel dan biaya penuh. Pendapatan usahatani ditentukan dengan selisih antara total pendapatan dan total biaya, dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan Rasio R/C. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur biaya dengan komponen biaya variabel terbesar adalah biaya tenaga kerja sebesar 55,50% dan komponen biaya tetap terbesar adalah biaya sewa lahan sebesar 88,20% dari total biaya. Nilai biaya pokok produksi padi dengan metode biaya variabel adalah Rp2.462,93/kg sedangkan dengan metode biaya penuh adalah Rp3.492,83/kg. Pendapatan usahatani padi berdasarkan biaya tunai adalah Rp20.182.867,71/ha, sedangkan pendapatan mereka berdasarkan biaya total adalah Rp12.983.010,90/ha, dengan rasio R/C sebesar 2,89 untuk biaya tunai dan 1,73 untuk biaya total.
