Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Pada penelitian ini, telah dilakukan pembuatan natrium lignosulfonat (NaLS) dengan variasi konsentrasi Natrium Bisulfit (NaHSO3) 20 %, 40 %, 60 % dan 80 % (b/v). Hasil penelitian menunjukan rendemen NaLS optimum yaitu 85 % (b/b) dengan kemurnian 80 % dan pH 7,11 pada konsentrasi NaHSO3 60% (b/v). Identifikasi hasil sintesis NaLS dilakukan dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV, DTG/DTA/TGA dan FTIR. Analisis degradasi termal menggunakan TGA/DTA/DTG menunjukkan termogram dekomposisi TGA pada suhu 51 oC sebesar 5,13 % dan termogram DTA menunjukkan sifat endoterm pada suhu 50,8 oC dan sifat eksoterm pada suhu 391oC. Derivatogram DTG pada suhu 231,7 oC menunjukkan degradasi NaLS sebesar 75,3 μg/min. Spektrum IR menunjukkan adanya puncak lignosulfonat pada 594,08 cm -1 yang memperkuat adanya ikatan sulfonat yang menggantikan gugus hidroksil lignin. Kata Kunci : Tandan Kosong Sawit, Lignin, Natrium Bisulfit, Natrium Lignosulfonat THE PREPARATION OF SODIUM LIGNOSULFONATE FROM OF ISOLATED LIGNIN OIL PALM EMPTY FRUIT BUNCHES In this research, has been the preparation of sodium lignosulfonate with various concentration Sodium Bisulphite (NaHSO3) 20 %, 40 %, 60 % and 80 % (w/v). The results showed that the optimum yield of SLS is 85 % (w/w) with a purity of 80 % and pH 7,11 at a concentration NaHSO3 60 % (w/v). Identification of the synthesis SLS was done using spectrosphotometer UV, TGA/DTA/DTG and FTIR. Based on analysis of thermal degradation using TGA/DTA/DTG showed TGA decomposition thermogram at a temperature of 51 oC at 5,13 % and thermogram DTA showed endothermic properties at a temperature of 50,8 oC and exothermic properties at a temperature of 391 oC. Derivatogram DTG at temperature of 231,7 oC show degradation SLS 75,3 μg/min. IR spectrum showed lignosulfonate peak at 594,08 cm -1, which strengthen the bond sulfonate which replaces the hydroxyl groups of lignin..
