Abstract
ABSTRAK INDONESIA Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 05 Metro Barat, dari hasil observasi diketahui hanya sebesar 34,78% siswa yang tuntas belajar dengan KKM 65. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Numbered Head Together untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan dan setiap pertemuan dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan non tes. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Numbered Head Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa. Hal ini dilihat dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I 63,32 dan siklus II 75,98, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 12,66. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I 43,48% dan siklus II 82,61%, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 39,13%. Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar, IPS, model Cooperative Learning tipe NHT
