Abstract
Abstrak Salah satu kendala utama dalam budidaya tanaman tembakau adalah penyakit rebah kecambah yang disebabkan oleh jamur Pythium sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi Trichoderma spp. dan jerami padi terhadap keterjadian penyakit rebah kecambah pada tembakau. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Juli 2011 hingga Januari 2012 di laboratorium Penyakit Tumbuhan Jurusan Proteksi Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Lampung. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan empat ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas kontrol (Ko), aplikasi jerami padi (J), aplikasi T. viride dengan jerami padi (Tv.J), aplikasi T. viride (Tv), aplikasi T. harzianum dengan jerami padi (Th.J), dan aplikasi T. harzianum (Th). Peubah yang diamati adalah persentase kemunculan dan keterjadian penyakit. Pengamatan dilakukan setiap tiga hari sekali selama tiga minggu. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan sidik ragam dan Uji Beda Nilai Tengah. Hasil penelitian yaitu perlakuan T.harzianum dengan jerami padi (Th. J) pada 19, 22, 25, dan 28 hss dapat menekan keterjadian penyakit rebah kecambah. Kata kunci : Penyakit rebah kecambah, Pythium sp., Trichoderma spp, jerami padi, keterjadian penyakit Abstract Damping-off is one of important problem in growing of tobacco cause by Pythium sp. This research was aimed to know the influence application of Trichoderma spp. and rice straw on incidence of damping-off disease on tobacco. The research was done during July 2011 until Januari 2012 at laboratory of plant disease Departement of Plant Protection, Agriculture Faculty, University of Lampung. The treatment in this study arranged into completely randomized design with four replication. The treatment are control (Ko), application of rice straw (J), application of T.viride with rice straw (Tv.J), application of T.viride (Tv), application of T.harzianum with rice straw (Th.J), and application of T.harzianum (Th). Observable variable is the emergence percentage and disease incidence. Observation was done every three times for three weeks. All the data were analyzed with analysis of variance and Least Significant Different. The results from this research showed that T. harzianum with rice straw (Th.J) on observations 19, 22, 25, and 28 day after spread decreaced the incidence of damping-off disease.
