Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Perbedaan antara tingkat kinerja PPL di BP3K Model dengan kinerja PPL di BP3K Non Model, 2) Perbedaan antara produktivitas usahatani padi di wilayah kerja BP3K Model dan Non Model, 3) Hubungan kinerja PPL dengan produktivitas usahatani padi di Wilayah Kerja BP3K Model, 4) Hubungan kinerja PPL dengan produktivitas usahatani padi di Wilayah Kerja BP3K Non Model. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Talang Padang dan Kecamatan Pugung Kabupaten Tanggamus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Desember 2011 sampai dengan Januari 2012. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 109 orang (16 PPL dan 93 petani) diambil menggunakan metode Stratified Non Proporsional Random Sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survai dan dinalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan diuji dengan uji non parametrik (korelasi Rank Spearman dan Mann Whitney). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara kinerja PPL di BP3K Model dan Non Model pada taraf kepercayaan 99% , 2) terdapat perbedaan antara produktivitas padi di wilayah kerja BP3K Model dan Non Model sebesar 0,49 ton/ha 3) tidak terdapat hubungan yang nyata antara kinerja PPL dengan produktivitas usahatani padi di wilayah kerja BP3K Model pada taraf kepercayaan 95%, 4) tidak terdapat hubungan yang nyata antara kinerja PPL dengan produktivitas usahatani padi di wilayah kerja BP3K Non Model pada taraf kepercayaan 95% Kata Kunci : Kinerja, produktivitas padi, BP3K Model Abstract This research aims to determine: 1) the difference between the performance of Agricultural Extension Officer (Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan /PPL) in Extension Agensi of Agricultural, Fishiers dan Forestry (Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian, Perikanan dan kehutanan/B¥3K) Model and Non Model, 2) the difference between the productivity of rice fanning in the region of BP3K Model and Non-Model, 3) Relationships of PPL’s performance with productivity of rice farming in BP3K Model Region, 4) Relationships of PPL’s performance with productivity of rice farming in the BP3K Non Model Region. This research was conducted in the Talang Padang and Pugung Sub-district of Tanggamus Regency. This researh was conducted from December 2011 to January 2012. Respondents were 109 people (16 PPLs and 93 Farmers) taken by Non Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Research methodology is a survey method and using descriptive analysis and non parametric tested (Rank Spearman correlation and Mann Whitney). The results showed that: 1) there is a significant difference between the performance of PPL in BP3K Model and Non-Model of confidence level of 99 %, 2) there is a difference of rice farming productivity in the BP3K Model region and BP3K Non Model Region amount 0.49 tons/ha, 3) There isn’t significant relationship between PPL’s performace with rice farming productivity in BP3K Model Region of confidence level of 95%, 4) There isn’t significant relationship between PPL’s performace with rice farming productivity in BP3K Non Model Region of confidence level of 95%, Keywords: Performance, rice productivity, BP3K Model
