Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

The purposes of this study are (1) to describe the current conditions of learning mathematics and analyze the potential for the development of mathematics module for Statistics and Probability (2) to develop instructional materials in the form of mathematical module for Statistics and Probability in grade XI Science, (3) to test the effectiveness of the use of the module for Statistics and Probability, (4) to test the efficiency of the use of the module for Statistics and Probability, (5) to test the attractiveness of the module for Statistics and Probability as teaching materials for students. This research used the approach of Borg and Gall research and development. It was conducted in SMAN 13, SMAN 15, and SMA Persada Bandar Lampung. The data collecting techniques were questionnaires and test instruments. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research conclusions are (1) senior high schools in Bandar Lampung are potential for the development of the module Statistics and Probability (2) the development of teaching materials for math module for Statistics and Probability can be applied on the subject of the research; (3) module is effective for instructional materials in teaching because more than 60% of students pass the study with proportion test; (4) module is efficient to use as teaching materials in learning because it tekes less time, with efficiency value of 1.57; (5) module is attractive for students as teaching material for Statistics and Probability as it can be seen from the test results of the module attractiveness with average percentage of 88%. Keywords: Teaching Materials, Module, Statistics and Probability Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan kondisi pembelajaran matematika saat ini dan menganalisis potensi pengembangan modul matematika materi Statistika dan Peluang, (2) mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk modul matematika materi Statistika dan Peluang kelas XI IPA, (3) menguji efektifitas penggunaan modul Statistika dan Peluang, (4) menguji efisiensi penggunaan modul Statistika dan Peluang, (5) menguji kemenarikan modul Statistika dan Peluang sebagai bahan ajar bagi siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan Borg and Gall. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung, SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung dan SMA Persada Bandar Lampung. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan instrumen tes. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah (1) SMA di Bandar Lampung berpotensi untuk pengembangan modul, yang ditandai dengan belum adanya modul sebagai bahan ajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika materi Statistika dan Peluang (2) pengembangkan bahan ajar modul matematika materi Statistika dan Peluang dapat diterapkan pada subyek penelitian. (3) Modul efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena lebih dari 60% siswa tuntas belajar dengan uji proporsi. (4) Modul efisien digunakan sebagai digunakan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran karena menggunakan waktu lebih sedikit, dengan nilai efisiensi 1,57. (5) Modul menarik siswa sebagai bahan ajar materi Statistika dan Peluang dilihat dari hasil uji kemenarikan modul dengan rata-rata persentase 88%. Kata kunci : Bahan Ajar, Modul, Statistika dan Peluang.
