ABSTRAK ANALISIS HARGA POKOK PRODUKSI CABAI MERAH RAMAH LINGKUNGAN DAN NON RAMAH LINGKUNGAN SERTA PENYEBAB RENDAHNYA MINAT PETANI UNTUK MENERAPKAN BUDIDAYA CABAI MERAH RAMAH LINGKUNGAN DI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN Oleh PUJI ASTUTI Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghitung dan membandingkan harga pokok produksi cabai merah ramah lingkungan dan non ramah lingkungan, serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat petani cabai untuk menerapkan budidaya cabai merah ramah lingkungan di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Natar, Way Sulan, Candipuro, Kalianda dan Penengahan Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode survey dengan alat bantu quisioner. Uji beda harga pokok produksi dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS dengan analisis compare mean independent sample t test. Faktor penyebab rendahnya minat petani dianalisis dengan analisis faktor program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga pokok produksi cabai merah ramah lingkungan adalah Rp 4.859/kg, dengan total biaya usahatani Rp. 43.804.375/ha dan rata-rata produksi 9.063 kg/hektar. Harga pokok produksi cabai merah non ramah lingkungan adalah Rp. 5.682/kg dengan total biaya usahatani Rp. 54.502.535/ha dan rata-rata produksi 9.592 kg/hektar. Hasil analisis uji beda menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung adalah 2,059 pada signifikansi 0,043. Secara statistik harga pokok produksi cabai merah ramah lingkungan berbeda nyata dengan harga pokok produksi cabai merah non ramah lingkungan. Harga pokok produksi cabai merah ramah lingkungan lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan harga pkok produksi cabai merah non ramah lingkungan. Harga pokok produksi cabai merah ramah lingkungan lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan harga pokok produksi cabai merah non ramah lingkungan. Melalui analisis faktor diperoleh 3 faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat petani untuk menerapkan budidaya cabai merah ramah lingkungan di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan yaitu faktor aplikasi budidaya dan bimbingan petugas, faktor sarana dan serangan hama penyakit tanaman serta faktor hasil budidaya. Kata kunci : harga pokok produksi, minat petani, ramah lingkungan, non ramah lingkungan, ABSTRACT PRODUCTION COST ANALYSIS OF ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND NON FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT OF RED CHILLI FARMING AND CAUSES OF FARMER’S LOW INTEREST TO APPLY ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY RED CHILLI CULTIVATION IN SOUTH LAMPUNG REGENCY By PUJI ASTUTI This research aims to analyzing the production cost of environmentally friendly and non-riendly environment of red chilli farming, comparing the cost of production of red chilli environmentally friendly with non-friendly environment and analyzing the factors that cause low interest of red chilli farmers to apply environmentally friendly of red chilli cultivation in South Lampung Regency. The research was conducted in five districts in South Lampung Regency, namely Natar District, Way Sulan, Candipuro, Kalianda and Penengahan. The method used in this research is a survey method with the instrument of quisionere. Data were analyzed with compare mean independent sample t test and factor analyzing SPSS program. The results show the cost production of environmentally friendly red chilli Rp 4.859/kg, with a total cost Rp. 43.804.375/ha, and the production is 9.063 kg/hectare. the cost production of non environmentally friendly red chilli Rp. 5.682/kg with a total cost Rp. 54.502.535/ha and the production is 9.592 kg/hektare. The result of different test analysis showed that the t-value was 2,059 at the significance 0,043. Statistically the production cost of red chilli environmentally friendly differed significantly from the production cost of non environmentally friendly red chilli. Throght analysis factors obtained, there were three factors that lead to low interest of farmers to apply environmentally friendly red chilli cultivation, namely the cultivation application and guidance officer factor, means factor and pests attact, and factors of cultivation result.
