Abstrak Aktivitas pengelolaan aset pada sebuah perusahaan merupakan hal yang penting untuk dilakukan. Pengelolaan aset dapat berupa pencatatan, perawatan hingga pengelolaan yang lebih lanjut. Pencatatan informasi aset yang dimiliki oleh suatu perusahaan merupakan proses utama dan sangat penting untuk dilakukan untuk merekam data aset yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan. Adanya informasi secara pasti tentang aset yang dimiliki oleh suatu perusahaan akan memberikan kemudahan bagi perusahaan yaitu, perusahaan akan dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan dari aset dan perusahaan juga akan lebih mudah untuk melakukan proses manajemen aset yang lebih lanjut. PT. PLN (Persero) sektor pembangkitan tarahan merupakan perusahaan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap yang memiliki aset yang tersebar baik di dalam gedung, maupun di luar gedung. Proses pencatatan informasi aset di PT. PLN (Persero) Sektor Pembangkitan Tarahan belumlah sepenuhnya dikelola dengan sistem komputerisasi. Proses pencatatan data setiap aset masih dilakukan secara manual dan prosesnya juga belum maksimal. Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah sistem informasi inventarisasi aset yang mempunyai fitur dapat melakukan pencatatan detail informasi atribut dan memonitoring serta memetakan letak aset yang ada. Adanya aplikasi ini maka seluruh atribut data aset yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan dapat terinventarisasi dan teridentifikasi dengan baik sehingga proses monitoring aset lebih optimum dan lebih mudah dilakukan. Sistem juga dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam pengambilan keputusan terhadap aset di masa yang akan datang. Sistem informasi inventarisasi aset berbasis web-GIS ini dibuat dengan menggunakan MapServer dan framework Pmapper. Framework Pmapper menyediakan sebuah tools yang sangat bagus dan siap untuk digunakan. Ketangguhan dari framework ini adalah dapat berjalan dengan baik pada berbagai web browser. Kata kunci : Aset tetap, Pengelolan aset, Inventarisasi Aset, Pmapper, MapServer, Web-GIS, PLN. Abstract Asset management in a company is very important to do. Asset management may include record keeping, maintenance and management environment further. Recording information asset owned by a company is the primary and most important thing to do to record data asset owned by the company. The existance of definite information about the asset owned by a company will provide convenience for the company that is, the company will be able to optimize the use of asset and the company will also be easier to carry out asset management process further. PT PLN (Persero) Tarahan’s Generating Sector is a Steam Power Plant which has assets spread both inside and outside the building. The process of recording information assets in PT PLN (Persero) Tarahan’s Generating Sector is not entirely managed with computerized system. The process of recording data asset is still done manually and also not maximum. In this research develoved an Asset Inventory Information System which has the feature that can do registration detail information about the attributes and monitoring and mapping the location of existing asset. With this application all the attributes of data assets owned by the company can be well identified and inventory so that the process of monitoring asset more optimum and easier to do. The system can also provide ease in making decisions on assets in the future. Asset Inventory Information System Web-based GIS is built by using MapServer and Pmapper. Pmapper is a framework based on MapServer and PHP/Mapscript. Pmapper provides a good set of tools ready to use and it has a plugin API to add functionalities.
