Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang: Perubahan penggunaan lahan sawah menjadi permukiman di wilayah Kecamatan Pringsewu, Kabupaten Pringsewu tahun 2010-2014, dengan titik tekan kajian pada pertambahan jumlah penduduk, perubahan luas lahan sawah dan permukiman, dan sebaran pertambahan luas lahan permukiman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Objek penelitian tentang perubahan lahan sawah menjadi permukiman. Pengumpulan data, dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan tabulasi frekuensi dan persentase, sebagai dasar interpretasi dan deskripsi dalam membuat laporan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) Selama 5 tahun terjadi pertambahan jumlah penduduk 4.767 jiwa/1,26%, yang dimungkinkan menjadi penyebab berkurangnya luas lahan sawah menjadi permukiman. (2) Seluas 146 ha lahan sawah dijadikan permukiman baru. (3) Pertambahan luas permukiman 300,00 ha/3,30%, yang berasal dari lahan sawah (146,00 ha), serta dari lahan perkebunan dan tegalan (154,00 ha). (4) Pertambahan luas permukiman tersebar di semua wilayah Kecamatan Pringsewu, yang terluas di Pekon Waluyojati (24,75 ha), dan yang tersempit di Pekon Fajar Agung (7,25 ha) Kata kunci: Perubahan Penggunaan Lahan, Sawah, Permukiman. ABSTRACT STUDY OF THE CHANGES OF USING RICE FIELD INTO SETTLEMENTS IN PRINGSEWU SUBDISTRICT PRINGSEWU REGENCY YEAR 2010-2014 This research aims to assess about: The changes of using rice fields into settlements in Pringsewu Subdistrict, Pringsewu Regency in 2010-2014, with a pressure point on the study of population growth, the changes of rice field areas and settlements, and the distribution accretion of land settlements. This research used descriptive method. The object of research was about the changes of using rice fields into settlements. The data collection, by observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. The data was analyzed by tabulating the frequency and percentage, as the basis for interpretation and description in a research report. The results of research showed that: (1) During the five-year population growth occurred 4,767 people/1.26%, that possibly caused the reduce of rice fields into settlements. (2) Covering an area of 146,00 ha of rice fields was made into new settlements. (3) Increasing of settlements area 300,00 ha/3,30%, which is derived from the rice fields (146,00 ha), as well as from plantations and dry fields (154,00 ha). (4) Increasing of widely scattered settlements in all of the Pringsewu Subdistrict, where the widest in Pekon Waluyojati (24,75 ha), and the narrowest in Pekon Fajar Agung (7,25 ha) Keywords: Changes of Using Land, Rice Field, Settlements.
