Abstract
Abstrak Informasi dapat dijaga keamanannya dengan teknik Kriptografi dengan melakukan enkripsi terhadap informasi yang dikirimkan. Pada penelitian ini dibahas tentang analisis dan performance dari algoritma kriptografi simetris yaitu algoritma Tiny Encryption Algorithm (TEA) dan LOKI. Analisis perbandingan yang dilakukan adalah kompleksitas dari algoritma, waktu dan kecepatan baik untuk proses enkripsi maupun dekripsi. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan 30 data dengan masing-masing karakter yang berbeda dalam teks dan 30 data diuji sebanyak 50 kali. Dari implementasi yang dilakukan didapat hasil bahwa waktu enkripsi dan dekripsi algoritma TEA lebih cepat dibandingkan LOKI. Algoritma TEA juga lebih cepat dalam hal kecepatan enkripsi, namun LOKI lebih cepat dalam hal kecepatan dekripsi. Kompleksitas dari kedua algoritma menunjukkan bahwa kedua algoritma merupakan algoritma linier (O(n)). Abstract Information can be kept secure by an encryption process in cryptography technique. In this research we discussed comparative analysis of symmetric algorithms: Tiny Encryption Algorithm (TEA) and LOKI in terms of their complexity, time and speed performance. The testing was conducted using 30 data with size varies between 50 bytes and 1500 bytes. Thirty data was tested 50 times. The result shows that TEA is faster in encryption and decryption compared to LOKI and the complexity of both algorithms are linear algorithms (O (n)).
