This study analyzed the perceptions of society toward marriage Begawi Cakak Pepadun In Village Communities in Lampung Sungkai at village Ketapang District South Sungkai. Marital Begawi Cakak Pepadun in community Lampung Sungkai done with great cost, while economic conditions in the village of Ketapang considered less capable but society still perform marriages Begawi Cakak Pepadun as a way to preserve their tribal culture in general and Lampung, Lampung Sungkai on especially. Public anticipate this condition by performing simplification at some stage of marital Begawi Cakak Pepadun so they can still perform marriages Begawi Cakak Pepadun although with a limited cost. This study aimed to find out how the public perception of marriage in society Begawi Cakak Pepadun Lampung Sungkai. To obtain and process the data received in the field, this study used qualitative research with the object type of research community in the village of Lampung Sungkai Ketapang, Object, as is observed in conditions or in a state of reasonable care and naturalistically (natural settings). Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews are also supported by observation and documentation in the field. Data analysis techniques used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification. Source of data information retrieved by Snowball sampling is a deliberate and determined the informant toward the goals of this study so that more accurate data collected. The results show that the simplification in the field of marriage Begawi Cakak Pepadun done to save costs but it also causes the simplification of the young generation rates Lampung Sungkai not know how the stages of marriage Begawi Cakak Pepadun Intar Padang way they should.
