Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Aplikasi antropometri pada kedokteran forensik dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi jenazah dan membantu penyidik dalam penentuan identitas seseorang. Proses identifikasi disederhanakan dengan hanya mempertimbangkan tinggi badan yang dapat dihitung dari dimensi tengkorak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengukur dimensi kepala dan melihat korelasinya terhadap tinggi badan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan lingkar kepala dan panjang kepala terhadap tinggi badan yang berguna dalam kedokteran forensik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan rancangan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara consecutive sampling dengan 63 responden untuk masingmasing suku Lampung dan suku Jawa. Pada suku Jawa, rerata lingkar kepala adalah 54,5(52,8-60) cm, rerata panjang kepala adalah 19(17-21,5) cm dan rerata tinggi badan adalah 163(153-179,5) cm. Lingkar kepala memiliki korelasi positif sangat kuat (r=0,898) dan panjang kepala memiliki korelasi positif sedang (r=0,527). Pada suku Lampung, rerata lingkar kepala adalah 54,92(52,6-58,30) cm, rerata panjang kepala adalah 19(18-20,50) cm dan rerata tinggi badan adalah 164,34(SD 5,56) cm. Lingkar kepala memiliki korelasi positif sangat kuat (r=0,803) dan panjang kepala memiliki korelasi positif kuat (r=0,605). Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa lingkar kepala dan panjang kepala memiliki korelasi yang positif dan signifikan terhadap penentuan tinggi badan (p<0,001) dan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara lingkar kepala, panjang kepala, dan tinggi badan pada suku Jawa dan Lampung (p>0,05). ABSTRACT Anthropometric application in forensic can be used to identify a corpse and help the investigators in determining the identity. The process is simplified by only considering the height, which can be calculated from the skull dimensions. We held a study that measure the head dimensions and compare with the body height. The purpose is to determine the correlation between the head circumference and length towards the height of the body that can be usefull in forensic identification. We used cross sectional design. In this study, the sample was chosen by consecutive sampling with 63 respondents for each group: Lampungnese and Javanese man adults. The average of the head circumference of the Javanese is 54,5(52,8-60) cm. The average of the length of their heads is 19(17-21,5) cm and the average of the height of their bodies is 163(153-179,5) cm. The circumference of the Javanese’s heads has a very strong positive and significant correlation (r=0,898), while the length of their heads has a moderate positive correlation with the height of their bodies (r=0,527). For Lampungnese adults, the average of the circumference of their heads is 54,92(52,6-58,3) cm, the average of the length of their heads is 19(18-20,50) cm and the average of the height of their bodies is 164,34(SD 5,56) cm. The circumference of Lampungnese’s heads has a very strong positive and significant correlation (r=0, 803) and while the length of their heads has a strong positive and significant correlation with the height of their bodies (r=0, 605). The conclusions are the head circumference and length has positive and significant correlation to the body height estimation (p<0,001) and also shows that there is no significant difference of head circumference, head length, and body height between the two groups (p>0,05) Keywords: body height estimation, head circumference, head length.
