Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Abstract Informasi yang akurat dari perguruan tinggi akan membantu seseorang dalam menentukan tempat untuk melanjutkan studinya. Informasi tersebut meliputi informasi umum dan lokasi perguruan tinggi. Di kota Bandar Lampung, informasi mengenai lokasi perguruan tinggi hanya sebatas alamat, sedangkan ketepatan lokasi belum terpetakan secara digital. Sistem informasi geografi (SIG) merupakan sistem yang dapat memadukan antara data spasial (unsur peta) dan data non-spasial (atribut). Dengan menggunakan SIG, lokasi dapat dilihat secara visual sehingga lebih mudah dalam mengetahui lokasi dan menampilkan informasi umum dari perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan SIG perguruan tinggi berbasis web dengan model sekuensial linear dalam pengembangan sistem. Informasi umum pada sistem merupakan hasil pendataan langsung dari masing-masing perguruan tinggi, sedangkan untuk keakuratan lokasi menggunakan GPS (Global Positioning System). SIG perguruan tinggi ini dapat menampilkan data spasial perguruan tinggi dan juga lokasi yang telah sesuai dengan keadaan sebenarnya. That information includes general information and location of universities. Geographic information system (GIS) is a system that can integrate between spatial data (map elements) and non-spatial data (attributes). By using GIS, the location can be seen visually, so it will be easier to find out the location and display general information of universities. This research developed web-based universities GIS by adopting linear sequential model in system development lifecycle. General information provided by this system is directly taken from each university, while for accuracy of the location from GPS (Global Positioning System). It shown that the system can show the spatial data and the location of universities according to actual data.
