Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh status sosial ekonomi dan media massa terhadap persepsi masyarakat nelayan tentang Pilkada Serentak 2015 di Kelurahan Sukaraja Kecamatan Bumi Waras Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian studi kasus. Teknik penentuan responden yaitu teknik purposive sehingga responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 orang. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengaruh status sosial ekonomi dan media massa terhadap persepsi masyarakat nelayan tentang Pilkada Serentak 2015 adalah tingkat pendidikan masyarakat, tingkat pendapatan masyarakat, dan frekuensi terhadap akses media massa. 2) Adanya pengaruh status sosial ekonomi terhadap persepsi masyarakat nelayan tentang Pilkada Serentak 2015, dikarenakan tingkat pendidikan dan tingkat pendapatan masyarakat yang tergolong rendah, mengakibatkan masyarakat hanya sekedar berpartisipasi tanpa mengetahui arti dari Pilkada Serentak itu sendiri. 3) Adanya pengaruh media massa terhadap persepsi masyarakat nelayan tentang Pilkada Serentak 2015, dikarenakan frekuensi terhadap akses media massa yang sedang pada masyarakat nelayan cenderung hanya mendapatkan informasi dari media televisi saja dikarenakan kurangnya minat masyarakat yang berpendapatan dan berpendidikan rendah untuk membaca koran tentang Pilkada Serentak. Kata kunci: media massa, pilkada serentak, status sosial ekonomi ABSTRACT This study aims to to see how the influence of socioeconomic status and mass media on perceptions of fishermen about election simultaneously 2015 in Kelurahan Sukaraja Kecamatan Bumi Waras Bandar Lampung .This research uses the quantitative with type study cases . Technique the determination of respondents, technique purposive so respondents in research are always 100 people .The results of the study obtained: 1) factors affecting the influence of socioeconomic status and mass media on perceptions of fishermen about election simultaneously 2015 are the education level of community , the income of the level , and frequency of on access to mass media . 2 ) the influence socioeconomic status to perceptions of fishermen about election simultaneously 2015 , because level of education and level of income people are low , results in communities just a participate without knowing the meaning of election simultaneously itself. 3 ) the influence mass media on perceptions of fishermen about election simultaneously 2015 , because frequency on access to mass media that while in the community fishermen tend to only get information from television just by lack of interest of the community who had income and educated low from reading newspapers about election simultaneously .
