Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) perbedaan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 1 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non-example dengan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 3 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) perbedaan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 3 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non-example dengan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 1 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, (3) pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non-example terhadap hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 1, (4) pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non-example terhadap hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Negeri Katon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X 1 dan kelas X 3. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes, dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 1 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example nonexample dengan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 3 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) ada perbedaan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 3 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non-example dengan hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 1 yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kovensional, (3) ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non-example terhadap hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 1 dengan peningkatan sebesar 78,60 % (4) ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non-example terhadap hasil belajar geografi pada siswa kelas X 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Negeri Katon dengan peningkatan sebesar 77,15 %. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif, example non-example, hasil belajar geografi ABSTRACT This study aims at finding out and analyzing (1) the difference between the students’ achievement of geography subject in X1 class, where cooperative learning model type example non-example was implemented, and in X3, where conventional learning model was implemented, (2) the difference between the students’ achievement of geography subject in X3 class, where cooperative learning model type example non-example was implemented, and in X1, where conventional learning model was implemented, (3) the effect of implementing cooperative learning model type example non-example toward the students’ achievement of geography subject in X1 class, (4) the effect of implementing cooperative learning model type example non-example toward the students’ achievement of geography subject in X3 class. This research employed quasiexperiment method. The populations of this research were the students of X1 and X3 classes. Data collecting techniques administered were test, document, and observation. Data analysis employed was t-test and simple linier regression analysis. Results of the research show that (1) there is difference between the students’ achievement of geography subject in X1, where cooperative learning model type example non-example was implemented, and the students’ achievement of geography subject in X3, where conventional learning model was implemented, (2) there is difference between the students’ achievement of geography subject in X3 class, where cooperative learning model type example non-example was implemented, and the students’ achievement of geography subject in X1, where conventional learning model was implemented, (3) there is an effect in implementing cooperative learning model type example non-example toward the students’ achievement of geography subject in X1 whose increase is 78.60 % (4) there is an effect in implementing cooperative learning model type example non-example toward the students’ achievement of geography subject in X3 whose increase is 77,15 %.
