Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar Geografi siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen semu. Pada penelitian ini kelas XI IPS 1 dipilih sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS 2 dipilih sebagai kelas control dengan jumlah siswa yang sama dan bukan merupakan kelas unggulan. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar Geografi siswadi SMA Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Kata kunci : Pembelajaran kooperatif, tipe Jigsaw, hasil belajar Geografi. ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to find out the effect of cooperative learning model Jigsaw toward student learning result of Geography at XI IPS of SMA Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah year 2015/2016. The method that used in research was quasi experiment. It was to find out the effect of the given treatment toward the subject. In this research, XI IPS 1 as experiment class and XI IPS 2 as control class which consisted of the same student and were not superior class. The data collecting techniques that used in this research were test, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this research was t-test. The result showed that there was an effect of cooperative learning model Jigsaw toward student learning result of Geography in SMA Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Tengah year 2015/2016.
