Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kinerja lingkungan terhadap kinerja ekonomi dengan total aset sebagai variabel kontrol. Variabel yang diuji dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari sertifikasi kinerja lingkungan (ISO 14001) sebagai variabel independen dan kinerja ekonomi yang diukur dengan ROA sebagai variabel dependen. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Setelah pengurangan dengan beberapa kriteria, ditetapkan sebanyak 192 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear dengan bantuan program bernama SPSS versi 17. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kinerja lingkungan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja ekonomi. Sedangkan total aset memiliki pengaruh. The variables tested in this study consisted of environmental performance certification (ISO 14001) as the independent variable and the performance of the economy as measured by ROA as the dependent variable. Techniques of analysis in this study uses linear regression analysis with the help of a program called SPSS version 17.
