Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana orientasi memilih dan partisipasi politik masyarakat desa Wirata Agung dalam pemilihan Kepala Daerah di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah tahun 2015. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini memerlukan sumber informasi dari narasumber yang terkait dengan penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dari informan yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dimana menentukan sampel berdasarkan informan yang sudah memiliki hak pillih dalam pemilihan Kepala Daerah di Lampung Tengah tahun 2015. Sebanyak 12 orang yang menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa orientasi memilih masyarakat desa Wirata Agung dalam pemilihan Kepala Daerah di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah bukan berdasarkan primordialisme atau keterkaitan SARA melainkan berdasarkan pilihan rasional yaitu memilih berdasarkan bantuan oleh calon yang berupa sembako dan pembangunan infrastruktur desa. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat desa Wirata Agung dalam kategori sedang, terlihat dari data yang diperolih dari KPPS desa Wirata Agung sebanyak 68% yang menggunakan hak pilih ini belum mencapai 72% sebagai standar nasional yang ditetapkan KPU dan target 75%. Selain itur berdasarkan indikator partisipasi masyarakat dan rekapitulasi tanggapan informan terhadap terlihat masih belum maksimal, masyarakat masih mengatakan tidak menggunakan hak pilih karena alasan siapapun yang terpilih keadaan masyarakat masih tidak ada perubahan. Secara umum orientasi memilih masyarakat desa Wirata Agung berdasarkan pilihan rasional dan kecenderungan partisipasi masyarakat masih sedang atau belum maksimalnya masyarakat dalam mengikuti pelaksanaan pemilihan Kepala Daerah di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah tahun 2015. VOTERS CHOOSING ORIENTATION AND POLITICAL PARTICIPATION OF THE PEOPLE IN WIRATA AGUNG VILLAGE IN LOCAL ELECTION, CENTRAL LAMPUNG REGENCY IN 2015 This research aimed to recognize how choosing orientation and political participation of people in Wirata Agung Village in order to join in Local Election of Central Lampung Regency in 2015. The method used is analytical data, qualitative-descriptive method. This research requires resource from original source based on the research. The technique of collecting data from informants was used purposive sampling,which in order to determine the sample had to be based on informants who owned right in Central Lampung Regency Local Election in 2015. This research used 12 informants which had become informants for this research. The research shows that voting orientation of people in Wirata Agung Village in the Local Election of Central Lampung Regency, is not determined by primordialism or SARA, however by rational choice which is chosen by the candidate in the form of assistance by groceries and rural infrastructure development. This research points out that villagers political participation in Wirata Agung Village is in medium condition, we can see that from KPPS data which said that 68% people has used their voting right. Actully it is not reach until 72% as national standard by KPU and target for about 75%. Besides, according to people political participation and informant recapitulation about people participation, has not maximum yet. They keep saying that they didn’t use their voting rights because some certain thing, such as whoever got elected, there will be no specific changes. Generally, people voting orientation of villagers in Wirata Agung based on rational choice, and some tendencious of its society participation is still not quite well, or has not maximum in Local Election of Central Lampung Regency in 2015 Keywords : Choosing Orientation, Political Participation, Local Election
