Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Hal yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi di kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran efektif yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri dari lima tahap. Tahap pertama adalah analisis kebutuhan yang terdiri dari observasi awal dan analisis kurikulum. Tahap kedua pengembangan model yang terdiri dari pengembangan blue print, flowchart, story board, RPP, dan bahan ajar pendukung. Tahap ketiga uji ahli yang terdiri dari ahli materi Geografi dan ahli desain media pembelajaran. Tahap keempat revisi produk. Tahap kelima uji terbatas dan penyusunan laporan. Produk akhir penelitian ini berupa sistem instruksional atau langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang diaplikasikan dalam RPP, dan telah dievaluasi oleh ahli materi, ahli desain model pembelajaran, serta uji terbatas dengan hasil bahwa; (1) produk media pembelajaran Movie Maker yang berhasil dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran Geografi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung, dan (2) media pembelajaran Movie Maker efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dilihat dari dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa atau meningkatkan jumlah siswa yang tuntas KKM. Kata kunci: pengembangan model pembelajaran CTL, media pembelajaran Movie Maker, pembelajaran geografi ABSTRACT The background to this study is the lack of critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in geography subjects in class XI SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. The purpose of this study is to produce effective learning media that can improve critical thinking skills seen from the results of student learning. The study consists of five development phases. The first stage is a needs analysis consists of an initial observation and analysis of the curriculum. The second stage of the development model consisting of a development blue print, flowcharts, story board, lesson plans and teaching materials supporting. The third stage consists of expert testing Geography matter experts and instructional media design experts. The fourth stage product revision. The fifth stage of the test is limited, and the preparation of reports. The end product of this research is the system instructional or learning steps are applied in the RPP, and have been evaluated by subject matter experts, expert design study model, as well as limited test with the result that; (1) the product of learning media Movie Maker is successfully developed could be used in teaching geography class XI student of SMAN 10 Bandar Lampung, and (2) the learning media Movie Maker effective in improving critical thinking ability of students viewed from can improve student learning outcomes or increase the number students who pass the KKM.
