Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Program berita televisi merupakan suatu laporan berupa fakta dan kejadian yang memiliki nilai berita (unusual, factual, and esential) serta disiarkan melalui media secara periodik. Efek penggunaan media dapat dioperasionalisasikan sebagai evaluasi kemampuan media untuk memberikan kepuasan yang dapat menimbulkan motivasi akan sesuatu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh program berita Liputan 6 di SCTV terhadap motivasi siswa-siswi SMA Al-Kautsar menjadi pembawa berita (News Anchor). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada 84 siswa-siswi SMA Al-Kautsar yang mengetahui program berita Liputan 6 di SCTV. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori S-O-R. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif antara program berita Liputan 6 di SCTV terhadap motivasi siswa-siswi SMA Al-Kautsar menjadi pembawa berita (News Anchor) yaitu sebesar 0,389, jika program berita Liputan 6 di SCTVditingkatkan 1%, maka tingkat kepuasan penonton meningkat sebesar 0,389.Besarnya pengaruh program berita Liputan 6 di SCTV terhadap motivasi siswa-siswi SMA Al-Kautsar menjadi pembawa berita (News Anchor) sebesar 63,09%. Motivasi siswa-siswi SMA Al-Kautsar menjadi pembawa berita (News Anchor) dipengaruhi oleh tayangan program berita Liputan 6 di SCTV sebesar 26,2% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang tidak diteliti. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the news program Liputan 6 SCTV to motivate the students of SMA Al-Kautsar to be the News Anchor. This research uses survey by distributing questionnaires to 84 students of SMA Al-Kautsar who know news program Liputan 6 SCTV. This study uses the theory of S-O-R. The results show the positive influence of the news program Liputan 6 SCTV to motivate the students of SMA Al-Kautsar to be the News Anchor that is equal to 0.389, if the news program Liputan 6 SCTV increased 1%, then the level of satisfaction of the audience increased by 0.389. The magnitude of the effect of the news program Liputan 6 SCTV to motivate the students of SMA Al-Kautsar to be News Anchor amounted to 63.09%. Motivation students of SMA Al-Kauthar to be the bearer of news (News Anchor) is influenced by the impressions of news programs Coverage 6 SCTV by 26.2% while the rest influenced by factors not examined.
