Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan modul matematika serta efektivitasnya ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan self efficacy siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP IT Bina Insani Metro dan beberapa ahli pada setiap tahapan pengembangan. Studi pendahuluan dilakukan untuk mengetahui materi serta indikator yang akan disajikan dalam modul. Penyusunan modul dilakukan dengan berdasarkan panduan penyusunan modul dari Depdiknas 2008. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul pada materi segitiga dan segi empat telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, media, dan bahasa. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa modul termasuk dalam kategori baik dari segi keterbacaan, ketertarikan, dan tanggapan siswa. Modul yang telah dikembangkan kemudian dianalisis keefektivitasannya. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes berpikir kritis matematis dan skala self efficacy. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan siswa telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis sedangkan kecenderungan self efficacy siswa setelah menggunakan modul matematika tidak menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan. Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, modul, self efficacy. ABSTRACT This research aimed to find out how to develop mathematics modules and its effectiveness in terms of critical thinking skills of mathematics and student’s self efficacy. The subject of this research was students of VIIth grade of SMP IT Bina Insani Metro. Preliminary study was done to determine indicators and materials would be presented in module. The preparation of the module was done based on the guidelines on programming modules from Depdiknas, 2008. The result of validation indicate that the module has a standard feasibility of content, media, and languages. The results of the initial trials showed that the modules included in well category. The result of limited tests in this study was a math module on triangles and rectangles materials. Module that have been developed then analyzed their effectiveness. The research data was obtained by the test of mathematical critical thinking and self efficacy scale. The results of effectiveness showed that students have completed a minimum standard in the ability of critical thinking of mathematics whereas the tendency of self efficacy of students after using the math module did not show any significant changes.
