Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Efektifitas jintan hitam (Nigella sativa) sebagai immunostimulan kakap putih (Lates calcarifer) terhadap bakteri Vibrio alginolyticus dapat diamati melalui profil histopatologi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jintan hitam terhadap imunitas kakap putih yang diuji tantang dengan bakteri V. alginolyticus melalui pengamatan profil histopatologi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari empat perlakuan (0%, 2,5%, 5%, dan 7,5% jintan hitam/kg pakan) dan 3 ulangan. Tingkat kerusakan jaringan dinilai berdasarkan jumlah kerusakan yang ditemukan pada jaringan tersebut, dengan kisaran nilai 0 hingga 5. Skoring pada tiap perlakuan diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata tingkat kerusakan jaringan. Berdasarkan perbandingan tingkat kerusakan jaringan pada profil histopatologi menunjukkan hasi yang berbeda nyata. Tingkat kerusakan jaringan pada penambahan 7,5%, 5%, dan 2,5% jintan hitampada pakan secara berturut-turut adalah 0,333, 0,733, dan 1,267. Penambahan 0% jintan hitam dalampakan menunjukkan tingkat kerusakan jaringan tertinggi dengan nilai1,867. Penambahan 7,5% jintan hitam dalam pakan tidak menimbulkan kerusakan pada jaringan ikan. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa jintan hitam efektif sebagai immunostimulan kakap putih dalam mencegah infeksi bakteri Vibrio alginolyticus berdasarkan pengamatan profil histopatologi. The effectivity of black cumin (Nigella sativa) as immunostimulant to barramundi (Lates calcarifer) against Vibrio alginolyticus can observed by histopathologic profile. The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of black cumin against the tissue damage level of barramundi was infected with V. alginolyticus through of histopathological observation profile. The study consisted of four treatments (0 %, 2.5 %, 5 %, and 7.5 % black cumin/kg feed) and triplicately. The tissue damage level was scored based on amount of tissue damage that found it, with range of score 0 untill 5. Scored on each treatment was result average of the tissue damage level. Based on histopathologic profile comparation of the tissue damage level has significant different. Tissue damage level on the additional 7,5%, 5% and 2,5% black cumin in feed have 0,333, 0,733, and 1,267 respectively. The additional 0 % black cumin in feed had the highest level of damage with 1.867. The additional 7,5% black cumin in fish food was not caused fish tissue damage. The conclusion of this research is the black cumin was effective as immunostimulant to barramundi in preventing bacterial infection of Vibrio alginolyticus based on observation of histopathologic profile.
