Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Lampung memiliki bahasa daerah Lampung yang disesuaikan dengan wilayah keadatannya, yang digunakan sehari-hari sebagai sarana komunikasi dan interaksi antar anggota masyarakat dari suku-suku atau kelompok-kelompok etnis daerah dalam wilayah Provinsi Lampung. Banyak masyarakat suku Lampung tidak mengerti atau tidak terbiasa menggunakan bahasa Lampung dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Masyarakat modern senang menggunakan perangkat smartphone untuk menjalankan aplikasi. Untuk kembali meningkatkan kelestarian dan penggunaan dari aksara Lampung, perlu dibuat aplikasi yang dapat diakses oleh masyarakat. Sistem informasi harus memanfaatkan font yang telah dibuat untuk mendukung sistem penyimpanan kata berbasis aksara Lampung. Penelitian dilakukan selama lima bulan di Laboratorium Teknik Komputer Jurusan Teknik Elektro dan Perpustakaan Daerah Provinsi Lampung. Metode pengembangan menggunakan metode RAD (Rapid Application Development) yang melakukan iterasi perbaikan di setiap tahapan pengembangan software. Hasil dari penelitian adalah basis data mobile dictionary bahasa Lampung beserta mobile dictionary bahasa Lampung sebagai media aksesnya. Mobile dictionary dapat dipakai di perangkat komputer, tablet dan smartphone. Mobile dictionary dapat menterjemahkan kata Indonesia menjadi aksara Lampung bersama transliterasi dan transliterasi kata Lampung menjadi terjemah kata Indonesia. Kata kunci : Aksara, Font, Mobile Dictionary, Lampung, Indonesia ABSTRACT Lampung has a local language tailored to the region tradition and used daily as means of communication and interaction among community members of tribes or ethnic groups in Lampung province. Many people in Lampung do not understand nor used the Lampung language in their daily life. Modern society tends to use smartphone devices for running the applications. Applications that can be accessed by the public to make Lampung script conserved need to be made. The information system must be made to utilize the created font to store word written using Lampung script. The research was conducted for five months in Computer Engineering Laboratory of Electrical Engineering Department and Lampung Province Library. The development method used the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method which has the improvement iteration at every stage of software development. The result of this research is mobile dictionary database and its application as access media. Mobile dictionary can be used on computer devices, tablets and smartphone. Mobile dictionary can translate Indonesian words into Lampung script together with its Indonesian transliteration and conversely. Keywords : Script, Font, Mobile Dictionary, Lampung, Indonesian
