Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pendapatan dan efisiensi produksi usahatani padi ladang di Kecamatan Sidomulyo, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini ditentukan secara purposive dengan pertimbangan daerah sentra produksi usahatani padi ladang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan data penelitian ini diambil pada November - Desember 2016. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 54 petani padi ladang yang dipilih menggunakan metode stratified random sampling. Tingkat pendapatan usahatani padi ladang dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis pendapatan dan efisiensi produksi usahatani padi ladang dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis fungsi produksi stochastic frountier. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendapatan usahatani padi ladang pada musim hujan (November 2016 - Maret 2017) menguntungkan dengan Rp1.381.414/ha, nilai R / C atas total biaya sebesar 1,22. Tingkat efisiensi produksi usahatani petani padi ladang sebesar 89% belum efisien. Kata kunci : efisiensi, padi ladang, pendapatan, produksi ABSTRACT The research aims to know the income level and production’s efficiency of upland rice farming in Sidomulyo Sub District of South Lampung Regency. The Location of this research was chosen purposively with consideration that the area is upland rice production centers in Lampung. This research used survey method and the data were collected in. The sample of this research consist of 54 upland rice farmers that selected by stratified random sampling method. The income level of upland rice farming was analyzed by using income analysis method. The production’s efficiency of upland rice farming was analyzed by using production stochastic frountier function analysis method. The results showed that the income level of upland rice farming in rainy season (November 2016 until March 2017) was provitable about Rp 1.381.414/ha, R/C value of total cost was about 1,22. The level production’s efficiency of upland rice farming was 89 percent not efficienct yet. Key words : efficiency, income, production, upland rice
